Florette runs on both tradition and teamwork.

Mornings often start with coffee, breakfast on deck and a quick briefing before sails go up.

Some days are for long crossings; others are spent anchored near the coast with time to swim, read, or go ashore. Everyone helps in their own way: steering, setting sails, cooking, keeping watch. Work and rest move together with the wind.

Cabins are simple and comfortable, with ventilation, a sink, and storage. Bed linen is provided; bring your own towel and any essentials you need.

Meals are cooked from local ingredients bought along the route. The crew plans menus together, and volunteers are welcome to join in cooking or preparation.

On Florette, you’re not a passenger but a part of the team. You’ll learn how to sail, take the helm, tie knots, and read the weather. No experience is needed; curiosity and willingness are enough.

Every voyage begins with a safety briefing and a hands-on introduction to sailing. From there, the sea becomes the teacher. The crew will guide you, but how much you do is up to you. The more you give, the more you get back.

Joining Florette means stepping into a working ship with a living history. You’ll share the experience with people from different countries, ages, and backgrounds, all brought together by the same idea: to live and travel with the wind.
